Oasis & The Real People on 22:13 - Jul 11 by PatfromPoole
They did.
1994, just as Definitely Maybe was about to be released.
Still my favourite ever album.
Was the same day Saints played St Etienne in a mid season friendly game weirdly. I remember because it was also the same day I met Tom Jones and he spoke to me about the anal sex laws in New England (no I’m not making that up), and I decided to go to the saints friendly instead of oasis

I thought it was a day before (or after??) a miserable 1-3 reverse at home to Oldham (????), which looked potentially fatal for us at the time.

I dont have an agenda against the Gallaghers, I didn't produce this video, I bought the first 3 Oasis albums I went to see them play, but it soon became clear that they were not the nicest people in the World and not even that original.
Fair play to them they kick started guitar bands again after 4-5 years of dance based music and they might well do it again in 2025.
Fair pay to them for giving the fans what they want, their set is based heavily on their first 3 albums and apparently only 1 song released this century,
Also fair play to them for openly boasting that they are ripping their fans off and not pretending they actually give a flying f*ck about them and that this is about the music.
They are milking it all for what it's worth, got their Manchester gigs this weekend they have set up merchandising stalls not just in the venue, but also in Manchester City centre, T Shirt are £40 a pop ( 9 different designs) reversible bucket hats £35 and key rings are a tenner.
For your information here is the full merchandising list and prices, as a Financial Advisor, our biggest business at the moment is remortgages for people attending these gigs.

What a bunch of gullible punts some of the British public are. Can't wait for the Farage prime ministership. Desperately seeking migration now.

Maybe my memory eludes me.
Actually think about it it might not have been st ettiene. It was definitely a mid week friendly which was weird in itself, I’m sure it was a French club but even that might be wrong. This is where we need Wintz and his rain man brain

It was the week we played Oldham and lost. Benali scored a brilliant own goal. I dont remember a friendly against a French team around there, but we did ANNIHILATE Gothenburg in a friendly at The Dell around that time

Whoosh.
That took this thread somewhere I didn’t see coming.
I hadn’t foreseen there was a link between the price of Oasis merch and immigration, but there it is.
Don't get excited - I'm talking about my migration. There is a big difference between my personal migration and 'immigration' in general. I think. Discuss. Up The Saints!!
