I thought we had them before lunch but it was a nail biting afternoon.

A very enthralling and evenly fought test and a vast improvement on the previous disappointment.
At least they now know they can win without having to chase all the time.

It was a brilliant test match and a great advert for the game. I’ve long thought test cricket is the best sport at international level, so much more interesting and enjoyable than the dirge of international football.

Absolutely enthralling test match, which could have gone either way, with an absolutely comical ending.

Great Test match. Now we have to endure the terrible 100 which is ruining domestic cricket.

I'll bet India didn't find it very funny

I bet the West Indian crowd found this even less funny:

Talking of crowds, I expect the vast majority of the Lord's crowd were born in England, yet most of them seemed to be supporting India.

So if you moved to Germany you would expect any kids born there to support the German national team ?

What a strange comment, I’ve got loads of mates who were born in England but parents from Ireland and they all support Ireland.

That’s shocking from the Windies, I’ve got a soft for them and find it sad how bad they are at cricket now. Think it comes from watching Malcom Marshall and Gordon greenidge play for Hampshire.

Really weird comment, I support both spain and england in the football at international level as i have duel nationality (despite being born in england) though to be honest i don't really care much about either and am city over country everytime.

No idea why people wouldn't follow their family heritage, i know indian lads that support India in the cricket, England in the football, Saints at club level and Britain in the olympics.
