Are we likely to lose any of our better players to Leicester now ??? 08:09 - Jul 16 with 5633 viewsnumptydumpty

Varane, Kolli, Nardi, Chair.

Perhaps the most likely I feel.

But sure we would make it extra difficult for them to purchase !!

Yes, i think we will lose all our best players to Leicester because only Marti knows about these players and no other club or scouts will have any insight so Marti has the upper hand and will raid us relentlessly.

Certainly Luton needed that last year, but went all progressive and process again and paid for it with a relegation.

And, as I pointed out on another thread, had one of the higher wage budgets in the division, plus parachute money, and still went down anyway. Successful clubs need an 'X' factor that can't be reduced to income or prestige.

Wasn't you also being sarcastic by thanking him for the sarcasm?

Was just highlighting his post which was particularly unfriendly and not pleasant.

He's not our player any more, but I half expect Lucas Andersen to rock up looking for coffee shops in Leicester..

I think Luton was 100% mentality last year.

They had spent a year in the Prem getting outplayed and beaten most weeks.
Then took that form into the Championship.

I think the players mindset was that they were "Premier League" now and it would be easy, so were not prepared to do any of the hard work in the Championship to survive.
