No reports of any bids for Franco. I’d guess that’s because clubs know we aren’t looking sell our best players. I’d be very confident that if Levein and Kaplan had still been here, someone would have chanced their arm with a £4-5m bid and got lucky.

Yes absolutely. Any club outside the very elite would.
Now we look like we’re going to generate a lot more indirect/commercial money, we don’t need to be selling off our silver for knockdown prices every summer just to keep the lights on.
