Wrexham π 17:18 - Jul 25 with 3057 views | KeithHaynes | Have joined the entitled lunatics on social media, some of their comments starting a rivalry with the Swans are hilarious. Guess they never really got over Lee Trundle.

Itβs incredible not only where these trouts have come from but how their knowledge of their team is so poor.

Wrexham π on 18:38 - Jul 25 with 1445 views | jack_lord | My knowledge of Wrexham isn't great. I know they have been in North Wales for a long time. How many years of their 150 odd year history have they been in the top league or even the second league? It is not great for the togetherness of Welsh Football if it causes angst between the teams just because they have now got some cash flow. If there wasn't financial fair play the clubs with wealthy owners would be drowning them.

Wrexham π on 19:22 - Jul 25 with 1322 views | Dr_Winston | I'd wager an affordable amount of money that the vast majority of the Wrexham "fans" giving it large are ones that the club have acquired in recent years and not the older crowd. The latter are probably still too busy pinching themselves at what's happened to gloat about it.

Another uncomfortable truth is having a lot of money to spend doesn't guarantee you anything.

Had a call from a good friend who has followed Wrexham all of his life. He is totally embarrassed by these people. He fears the worst.

This is their biggest problem. They will have attracted a significant number of new (plastic) supporters in recent seasons. Retaining them, even the dickheads, when they inevitably have a poor or even middling season won't be easy. Newbie fans complain louder and more frequently than those who have been there long enough to see plenty of ups and downs.

Nope its 1500, with capacity for more in the east stand but I doubt they will give more as they will have more plastics. [Post edited 25 Jul 21:52]

Wrexham π on 23:28 - Jul 25 with 776 views | Boundy | In response to the outburst by some Wrexham fans today marking themselves as better than Swansea City. And attempting some sort of fan rivalry. THIS IS OUR RESPONSE. When you win a major trophy after beating the holders and European champions on route, when you qualify for Europe the hard way through the premier league, when you supply more Welsh internationals than any other city in Wales, when you make Europe stand up and listen, when your managers move on to coach in the Euros and World Cup, when both ex managers are now in charge of the two biggest clubs in Scotland, when you appoint a manager who has played for Juve, Real Madrid, Barca, Lazio and Ajax who won over 100 caps for his country, when you supply players in internationals to Holland, Iceland, Argentina, Spain and England, when you beat the biggest clubs in the premier league on their own doorsteps more than once, when you complete seven years in the premier league playing 266 games, when you supply academy players for the international side who make up half of a starting eleven including current players, when you sell a player for 45 plus million pounds, when you have an internationally recognised head goalkeeping coach in the England and now Wales set up, when you attract an investor recognised as the best player in the world a Ballon d'Or winner and three successive champions league titles, when your next investor has sold 35 million albums worldwide and is the most recognisable face in rap music, and thereβs loads more, then maybe your chip on your shoulder will fall off. You are not our rivals, you will never be our rivals and being on Disney + for plastic Americans to get a hard on about means nothing. To even compare yourselves with Swansea City is hilarious. Stick to your local derby against Chester and all the wonderful memories you must have. Buying success means nothing, do it the hard way and maybe you will get some respect.

They will get 1,970 like all the rest. Oxford had more because they were still fighting to survive when the tickets originally went on sale. They received 2,617. That would be the max we would give anyone for a League Match. The demand to see Wrexham get stuffed will mean they just get the 1,970.
| Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year. | Poll: | What is your favourite Knock? |
