My knowledge of Wrexham isn't great. I know they have been in North Wales for a long time.
How many years of their 150 odd year history have they been in the top league or even the second league?
It is not great for the togetherness of Welsh Football if it causes angst between the teams just because they have now got some cash flow. If there wasn't financial fair play the clubs with wealthy owners would be drowning them. |  |

I'd wager an affordable amount of money that the vast majority of the Wrexham "fans" giving it large are ones that the club have acquired in recent years and not the older crowd.
The latter are probably still too busy pinching themselves at what's happened to gloat about it. |  |

This is their biggest problem.
They will have attracted a significant number of new (plastic) supporters in recent seasons. Retaining them, even the dickheads, when they inevitably have a poor or even middling season won't be easy.
Newbie fans complain louder and more frequently than those who have been there long enough to see plenty of ups and downs. | |

They will get 1,970 like all the rest. Oxford had more because they were still fighting to survive when the tickets originally went on sale. They received 2,617. That would be the max we would give anyone for a League Match. The demand to see Wrexham get stuffed will mean they just get the 1,970. |  |
