Sheehan was content after Cheltenham He said he was happy with somethings Now , it's Exeter It's only friendlies so I'm expecting a sea change cone Boro game
We still have Fushet at the club, we still have Yates
We still think Key is a.defender
I'd say we look like shite and the pre season positivity of the new ownership and coaching etc seems rather pallid to me
The obvious elephant in the room is the lack of depth in the squad. A striker is a must, as in my humble opinion, Vipotnik is another Yates. A total waste of money.

I am starting to get a little concerned.
I was very concerned on Wednesday night, as you know. There was nothing there. Didn’t see today but had a few texts to say we were poor. Does Sheehan have a say in recruitment? It’s obvious what we need but we don’t seem to be getting these players in.
Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Asking the question do we have anybody other than Franco in the middle of the park who has the pace to chase the oncoming opposition player down, O'Brien had that pace and knew to wait and trust his speed before making the challenge, a player travelling with the ball at his feet does looses speed in doing so allows the closing down midfielder time to get the challenge right without committing a foul, Widell against Cheltenham tried to commit to the challenge early giving away freekicks hoping he learns to bide his time before making a challenge even just getting his body between the opposition player and the ball as O'Brien did to ensure no foul is committed and possession is regained stifling opposition's forward play. If the defenders are marking correctly that means the opposition midfielder is lacking options in front of him meaning he could dwell on the ball, as you go higher in quality the more focused players need to be, friendlies may not be the best place to judge but we have a lot of young players but they and the coaches should be working hard getting the play right. Williams and Martin both seemed focused on attack and possession that they lost sight on the defensive side of the game.

I thought Sam Parlker looked ok and so did Lissah when he came on, he had some energy and got stuck in.
I thought the ref was poor besides the 3 disallowed goals the second of which I was convinced was good. I've heard different reasons why it wasn't given, offisde in front of the player who scored (obstruting goalies view) a foul and even someone claimed the linesman said the ball had gone straight out and curled back in. What was the official reason?
A lot of the time you wouldn't have guessed we were the higher placed team ut such are pre-season friendlies. At least Vipotnik finished his chance.
I thought Ronald looked poor, Melker looked a bit lost tome and I thought possobly the best player on the pitch first half was Exeters 10 who I think is Aitchison but I guess no one wanted to get hurt, we have 2 more weeks befor Boro but Exeters first game us next week.
Or am I searching for excuses.

I am starting to get a little concerned.
We've brought players in yes. but little is known as to how they'd fair in the Championship which is a very tough league and why we need a core of experienced championship players.

Sheehan’s persistent use of Fulton is also a concern.
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

Sheehan’s persistent use of Fulton is also a concern.
Especially twice as a CB a round peg in a square hole fits but dsoesnt fill the slot ptevious managers were slated for using players out of position.
my concern is Sheehan kows Cabango is now a doubt for several weeks, Santos is injured and rather than try to find a syatem utislising the remaining players strengths he is tryimg to make Fulton a CB to keep his favoured set up of 4 -3 -3
Maybe we should be going 3- 1- 4-3 2 Key Burgess and Tymon at the back with Fulton sitting in ~Front of them then Franco Gilbraith ,Widell and Cullen with Ronald and Vip up top
