The last time we won there was the 2019/2020 season.

Our last 10 overall results against them have been extremely poor ...

W2 - D1 - L7

And I'm not expecting our poor results there to improve.

Really looking forward to this one, meeting loads in boro and staying over as well, a draw would be welcome but not expecting much, still glimg though πŸ˜‰

I still have lots of confidence that we will get that striker we need along with a couple more and we will kick on.

Not having a go at you , but where you said kick on ,
Our owners had know what division we would compete in for the 2025/26 season and the date to start the season,
Yet we find ourselves still looking to recruit, but not just back ups , but main first team players ,

You know well enough that we have to adhere to PSR, therefore we cannot be held to ransom by clubs trying to get the best price.

I trust this lot far more than the leeches that owned us previously, its going to take at least 2/3 windows to get it right, I am prepared to sit it out, are you?

I more optimistic than I have been for 10 y we see at least this summer we signed players early. 12 th will do or away from the relegation zone.

like every tough game this is going to be extra tough with the injuries we have but (and a big but) if the lads all pull together and work hard we could come away with at least a point, in my humble opinion the squad is far from complete with glaring weaknessin areas all can see, but for me the big thing we are lacking on saturday is the experiance for this div. that will come but give it your best shot lads you CAN do it

Perform with a positive spirit and we will get a good result...last season the players looked as if they had just got off our coach which had left Swansea at 4am

Tbf we did ok last season, if it wasn't for bambi playing for them we might have got a point.

What i clearly remember was franco first game, I knew then that he would be good for us.

I wonder how many we are taking up there tomorrow? We took just over 500 last season, but that was an early kick off at 12.30pm (Sky+). No organised coaches by the club will have an impact too. There is pay on the day for away fans.

Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year.

To be fair, we can't force clubs to sell to us, we can't force players to sign for us and we can't force players to stay here either.

Then we can't help injuries, we have no control over any illnesses or accidents.

The current ownerd are a big improvement on the last lot but they have a lot of ground to catch up on and with PSR they have to be careful.

I'll be at Boro tomorrow too, and my son. Leaving at 5.30 with a mate.

Keep an eye on the man in the white shirt

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Poll: Does williams keep his job after this?

Match day thread : Middlesbrough v Swansea City on 08:22 - Aug 9 with 82 viewsRichardO

Hoping in the game today, after the requirement to look at various options in the run up games because of injuries and percieved lacking in depth of the squad that Sheehan has enough insight to keep us competitive at the start of the game while able to keep strong enough to see out the game strongly as substitutions are made.

Sheehan hasn't always picked what a lot of fans may think of as the best starting first eleven trying cover areas of weakness before and after substitutions.

First league game of the season will Middlesbrough come at as from the off or will their manager urge his team to start with some caution.
Sheehan has shown in away games that he will keep the midfield and defence solid but have the players got the strength and enough experience to deal with the demands required.
We have some quality players on the pitch lets hope they cut out the silly errors and can gel quickly with purpose in defence and have an incisive attacking threat.
New season new hope. COYS
