This from:

"Five years of data. Thirteen painstakingly chosen categories. One clear ‘winner’ - Southampton.

The Saints have endured a brutal half-decade: 42 errors leading to goals, nine 90th
-minute winners conceded, and a 55% away -day defeat rate.

The evidence is damning. Southampton fans are, beyond doubt, the most hard-done-byin English football.

Congratulations, Southampton…sort of."

Over to you Nick to:

(a) Put a positive spin on this
(b) Flip it so that it's the moaning fans to blame, and the Club that is hard done by...

To be fair that does make the fact we sell out home and away so regularly even more impressive, we are proper suckers for punishment

You've got to laugh or...

I'm not sure about 1 of their categories though. They think that 0-0 draws mean fans are suffering. But as a Saints fan I can think of lots of games where 0-0 would have been wonderful.

I would take out that category and replace it with the number of 9-0 defeats.

Nothing to do with Sports Republic,it’s all the fans fault, it must be because Nick tells us it is.

Stats, may not lie (depending on how the data is collected) but the conclusions drawn are often completely misleading.

For example, "there's been a 100% increase in sales of portsmouth season tickets" appears impressive on first sight, but not if they only sold one in 2023 and two in 20024....

Tha fact that Lpool, Arsenal and man City in the bottom 7 could also be interpreted as some sort of bias to on field decisions?

Poll: Are you renewing your season ticket
