Quite a good night for Reform ,certainly in Wales a sea change is happening with Llangennech becoming a shade of turquoise with Reform winning the seat with Labour winning just 23.6 of the vote .Plaid came second trailing Reform by 12%.

Not only Llangennech. Some keep denying the inevitable but it looks as if it is going to happen.

And there's rumours of tax rises and or cuts in spending and this lot welcoming asylum seekers/ illegals with open arms, with the taxpayer picking up the tab, it's a disgusting joke

I’ve been WhatsApped the petition for an immediate general election by three unrelated people today.

Won’t happen, but the fact it’s gathering traction is a decent indicator of the mood in Wales and beyond.

Many will excuse the deficiencies of reform even Nigel's poshness
Fact is anyone promising to really attack this issue will bemeywithapprovsl

I'm all for Welsh Labour and Labour in Downing St being outed, but not by Reform they'll be a disaster IMO.

I keep saying that we need a complete overall of the UK's political landscape, but Reform ain't it.

But Farage has said we won’t pay tax on the first 20k and he will cut fuel duty by 20p a litre.
So that makes me £1500 better off on salary, and £1000 better off on fuel duty.

That’s 75 billion lost revenue, but hey ho, what a joker Nige is.
He is taking lots of people for a ride. Do the maths people.

Possibly but it doesn't say much for Labour because he is hammering them into the ground. The Labour Chancellor can't do the maths, why should anyone else.

Yes, because people are thick. How the hell can you lose 75 billion, and that’s just two of his promises. The country will be bankrupt within 3 months.
Farage is promising everything but cannot carry out those promises as he will have no money to do anything. If you think it’s bad now, it will be five times worse under him.

I agree prople are thick, 25 years of voting Labour in Wales, but it's about to change. Everyone can see it including Eluned Morgan.

How much will cancelling net zero save us, how shipping out the illegals from the UK save us, there are a myriad of money saving ideas which could be adopted by Reform

In the long run cancelling net zero will cost us far more than it'll ever save.

We're shipping out as many "illegal" immigrants as we can now, we need to stop them coming here.

You think a guy who will lose £75 billion revenue in just two of his policies is the right guy?

Cancelling net zero will cost a lot of money. That’s even more debt.
I can’t find a single Farage policy that saves money.
Every policy is going to cost us.
The guy can’t count.

If Labour had done a decent job nobody would be asking the question.

But to answer your question, more think so than are backing Labour, the question should be how have Labour gone from a massive majority to a party about t lose everything in 12 months.

Answer incompetence.

Because it's about a lot more than what we pay today. We need energy security and not rely on imports. We need renewable energy in the right place more than anything.

Paying for it is no different to any previous infrastructure costs like motorways, airports etc where would we be without them?

We have gas and oil reserves but not allowed to use them we now are reliant on buying our gas from Norway so that's a great idea , renewables should be used in conjunction with fossil fuels not instead of , the world looks on at the UK whilst we destroy our manufacturing industry all on the whim of bug eyed Miliband.

We don't have the reserves. We have some but nowhere near enough, and that's just gas. We may be able to find more but that'll cost billions. That's why we import.

Our oil refineires can't process north sea crude oil. How much will it cost to upgrade them to do so?

We are totally reliant on imports. And we always will be if we rely on fossil fuels.
