Celar is so far off Championship material it’s embarrassing. We don’t have the luxury of carrying him and hoping he hits 10-15 goals this season because it’s not going to happen.

Our esteemed CEO states that if a development players isn’t knocking on the first team door by 18 then he’s never going to make that transition and it’s time to move on.

By that simple measure Celar has to be moved out either on loan or on a reduced transfer fee. He’s not worth a place in the starting 11or squad.

Precisely. If he were a Heider Helguson - or even a poorer variant - battering defenders, earning penalties, bringing attacking midfielders into play I'd be perfectly happy with a centre forward who scores maybe 10 goals in 35 games a season. Which is kind of what Frey does except he can't complete enough minutes. I think fan expectations have grown reasonably muted...

Exactly. It is not only the goals but his utter lack of activity. He is rarely involved and never seems to make the defenders think about him. He does not help to make things happen. He is basically in the middle watching the match go on around him
