I'd like to see him play as part of a two. For example, a fit Frey and Kolli looking to play off him might be a real handful. I know it's a bit retro, but I think it might be worth a look. Problem is, really, who do you drop in odder to make this happen? And when will we be seeing this mythical quality 'fitness', of which people speak? |
We need to start Kolli and Burrell up top in my view and use Celar/Frey as a (non-) impact sub. As for Frey, I'll wager he won't be available to play more than 15 games this season. Chair as a 10, with Dembele, Poko and Varane in a three. Field could be used at centre back, and Madsen is probably a squad player. Smyth as our quicksilver winger off the bench.
I suspect we'll still struggle to score enough goals, and let in quite a few, so for me we're likely stuck in mid-table at best. As someone has said, if it balances the books, I'm sure the club will suck it up. After all, the football side of the business is for us mugs - sorry, fans. [Post edited 11 Aug 18:18]

Frey is often injured and Celar has mostly been dreadful, and being able to play on the left and central, Kolli is going to play regularly, if he can stay fit. |
Does anybody believe Frey is 31 years old? He looks and runs like he’s 51. |  |

Get both sides of the argument but if the Kone deal actually happens and there's also rumours of Ba as well then we can afford to let Kolli go on loan because he needs to play regular games. Maybe a deal up until the end of December, an option is to let him go to Wycombe on loan as part of the Kone deal. | | | |

I like Frey too but he's just not consistently fit.
He reminds me of me when I used to play outfield. Hopefully he can have a non-injured patch soon. |  |

Kolli's family need to stop bigging up their boy and getting him gigs on the One Show, and let the coaching and support staff at QPR do their jobs to allow him to develop both personally and football wise too.
I unfortunately have heard a few stories about pushy parents regards Kolli from someone that knows the family.
He needs his focus entirely on football and the family need to butt out.
Am slightly concerned but also his availability for a young player has been shocking..
