after finishing up an 18 year coaching stint I have my saturdays back.... Thinking of a season ticket... Any recommendations on where in the ground? |  | | |  |

That would depend on how you want to watch the game; Front of SAR near the half way line gives you a good view of what's going on at both ends of the pitch but the crowd atmosphere isn't so great. Loft standing, and PQ&R block give you a good atmosphere but perspective stops you from seeing what is going on on the pitch clearly. Front of Upper Loft near the goal gives you a really good view of what is happening at the Loft end but perspective causes foreshortening at the School end. Ellerslie Road gives you a good view but lacks a bit of atmosphere. Lower School end is meh IMO. |  |

Atmosphere is best in safe standing or R Block lower, but if (like me) you're maybe a bit old and tired for all that, other parts of R or Upper Loft at the P block end is where I'd choose.
That said it's all personal preference really! I've been F Block for years now and really like it, but I like the unrestricted view of the teams and set up from upper loft.

If you are a tall or big fella, and worried about leg room, i'd recommend checking out some of the obstructed view seats.
Mine is classed as obstructed view, but it isn't. I can see 100% of the pitch. It might be the case if I was shorter than 5'6 or a child. I'm nearly in my 20th season in this seat.
If you can get down to LR easily, they might let you have a look around. |  | | |
