Truro vs York 17:51 - Aug 16 with 2093 viewspnc4eva1

Just watching on DAZN. Truro look a little weak ability wise and York should easily beat them.

The point to note is that the ground looks like a little wind tunnel. You csn see wind turbines spinning jn the background and the ball is holding up in the air.

The real reason I'm watching is I have family in Cornwall and I'm thinking of going down there when we play them. I can visit family and watch the dale

Also watching......the ground looks to be set in a beautiful country setting but with a howling wind. Truro GK can't reach half way line kicking into the wind but have wind behind them 2nd half...hope they get a result. Commentators going on and on about how York should go straight up.

I’ve toyed with the idea of going down as well as I’ve a nephew and his wife living in Truro who are both doctors at the local hospital. Wonder what the away accommodation is like, can’t be any less basic than a couple of grounds visited last season though.

If you're thinking of going, there are reports of Daleys going by plane to Newquay, less hassle and apparently cheaper. Flights may be fully booked though

I think flights to Newquay from Manchester mostly go and return via Dublin and are 5+ hours of a job... and its only 6- 7 hours to drive with a services stop en route....its not as cheap as it used to be either...
CornwallDale's family run the Priory Lodge Hotel on Mount Wise in Newquay and do B and B... and well worth checking out.....

The cheapest direct flights I could find for Manchester - Newquay return were flying with Loganair. Out Saturday and return Sunday. Netflights have tickets available at £ 322/person return. Unfortunately the flight doesn't arrive at Newquay until 2-55pm.
The option to go via Dublin, using Aer Lingus/Ryanair was £ 223/person. Arrival at Newquay is 12-40. Return flight departs Newquay on Sunday at 16-45 arriving Manchester 20-25.

The away fan area is standing only - some covered, some not.

There's a camping/caravan site a few miles from the ground. (Probably several). Cheaper than hotel if a family or a few mates going.
