Why does Will Still keep saying he wants the transfer window to close? 17:11 - Aug 17 with 858 views | PatfromPoole | I like Will Still. Talks a lot of sense, the players seem to be playing for him, and he seems to be increasing the team's resilience. What I don't get is why in one breath he says he hasn't got the wingers he needs to play in the style he wants to play. And then in the next, he says he can't wait for the transfer window to end and it is a nightmare. To my mind, the next 2 weeks of the window give him and Spors the perfect platform to enable us to have a successful season. We should embrace it and get on with it. We should go back cap in hand to Everton and accept their last offer for Dibling. And then go all out to get Fellows from West Brom to play on the right-wing, a quality left-winger, a right-back and ideally a striker. Over to you, Spors.

Why does Will Still keep saying he wants the transfer window to close? on 18:57 - Aug 17 with 636 views | Berber | Because he knows the probability is that his squad will be weaker. Our history is to sell the best, and buy “potential”.

Why does Will Still keep saying he wants the transfer window to close? on 19:07 - Aug 17 with 612 views | Southamptonfan | It's a horrible, irritating wait. The manager is probably impatient to know what his squad will be. A lot of work could be put into the team only for 5 players to leave in the next couple of weeks or worse on transfer deadline day. Then he has to adapt and build again. This game of cat and mouse, is getting weary now. Either we keep Fernandes and./ or Dibling or we don't. Get on with it so that the manager knows what team he will have. [Post edited 17 Aug 19:11]
