Here's an idea Stephan, pick the side yourself and challenge the child to sack you.

It's called having a backbone.

I share your frustrations and I'm sorry to hear of your loses. Let's hope that he can turn it round and we all have something to smile about soon

Having had a bit of time to think about it and watching Stephan's post match here again I really do detect a bit of him thinking "WTF have I been sold here?"

Yes I've thought same for the past couple of interviews. There are certain questions to which he initially diverts his eyes in response, before answering, as if he is thinking "hmm, i don't make those decisions so how do I answer".

There is a scenario where Stephan sees this as an impossible situation, and not wanting a relegation on his CV he quits, citing constraints from above and a dysfunctional fitness and injury situation. Now *that* would exert some pressure on the owners to pay attention to Nourry and the running of the club. I'm not saying its likely, or particularly appealing for Stephan having only just returned to football... But still.

If only Stephan had the backbone to do that. I suspect he prefers to keep his job a bit longer. Although if he did speak out and got sacked, he would gain respect and no doubt, a nice payoff from the club.

I totally get there but my point is this is three games in and it seems that many didn't want to give this guy a chance. Maybe it's because he is a Nourry guy.

id say me included could see before he joined that he wasnt going to be the right man for the job , his selling poing which we were tod plenty of time was he
develops players
and he won the cup in 2019 thats it , id prob add he likes to say YES sir a lot ,

dont forget nobody was hammering on his door for him to take over at any other club ? a football manger is one of the few jobs you can do badly at and still get most of your contract paid up when ur sacked , not a bad life id day , im sure hes a lovely guy , but watching him sat on the sidelines with a hand on his hip with zero idea on how to change anything going on in front if him says a lot , no sign of his coaches at any time just stood there doing noting atall . chalrton play a similar way to cov high press with agression , can u see anything diff happening on sat apart from us getting a hammering ?

for nourry to save face they would liekly come up with a few scenarios for him to leave and nourry not to face blame
family issues back in france
family havent settled
nourry always seems to find an angle to avoid any blame .

How long before 'those questions' are no longer allowed to be asked ?

The character assassination stuff is getting a bit OTT now.

He's had three (league) games. He's new, we have a stack of new signings not yet bedded in and another stack of players not available. I'm no happier with the results than anyone else, but maybe we should wait a little longer before hurling the toys out of our prams.

I think there's been tactical naivity at times during his first three games, but it's not the reason or at least not the only reason for our performances and results.

We have to allow him space to learn.

100%. The “nickname” in the title of this thread is proper schoolboy stuff. Marries well with the defending on the weekend.

If you think he’s the main problem here you aren’t paying attention, and haven’t been for a decade.
