I worry he would just be another Walcott now. He hasn't produced for a long time now. Is he fit enough? I suppose he couldn't do any worse than keep missing from 3 yards.
Josh Sargent at Norwich, he scored 15 goals last season, he has scored 3 goals so far this season. Consistent Championship striker. Just put a bid in for this proven Championship striker and be done with it. So what if he isn't under 20? It really p!sses me off that there are plenty of strikers we could get. There are also a few in league one who score goals for fun (more Rickie Lamberts). These pathetic owners keep wasting it on "potential". They arn't good enough!!! I find it funny that West ham got rid of Ings to replace him with Wilson. I would take Ings and i was surprised Creswell ended up at Stoke. I would of taken him. |  |

They get put on here at times as if they were gospel.
However I think this is a fairly compelling case for a goal scorer being our greatest need….

Yeah we need a finisher but I'm pretty sure the reason WS keeps playing Arma is because he is better at pressing than the others. As a team, you can't press if your centre forward isn't up to it. Arma is never a centre forward but he can run around all day. Ings used to be able to do that but can he do it now?
If he was signed, I don't think he'd be a starter, so I don't think that could be justified on his likely wages. | | | |
