Did anyone else on here attend today's Open Training session?
I was there with my son and when it came to the signing & selfie session some of the players didn't stay behind, including Dunne , Morrison and Kone.
Oh, and some of the shooting in the practice matches from the likes of Kolli & Dembele were dreadful, although I was impressed with Varane's and wonder why he doesn't get forward more and shoot (perhaps that will change if Hayden plays in the deeper role and allows him to play the no.8 role). Lots of pre-season videos of them skipping over little cones and stuff, and playing 5 a side matches with those little goals. Maybe a bit more running up and down hills wouldn't go amiss. Real basic stuff that seems to be missing. You don't need a flashy training centre to do that...... |  | | |

Sinton said he didn't mind it, but the other players hated it. I bet Macca hated it big time, but what do you say to Gerry, who captained England at 23 and kept Wilkins in his prime out of the England team, who in turn then kept Hoddle out for ages too?

Its gotten so bad that any repeat of that performance and Richards might get a game.

It is nonsense that players like Kone are not out on the pitch if they are fit......watch on Saturday who plays from the new signings. Training & Match days are very different things.
Why, for example, Kone did not start at Coventry is wrong, you just keep his responsibilities simple if you think that it is all too much for him (but it should not be).

Those ITK tell me that Kone turned up far too fit from Wycombe and was advised to take it easy for a week or so.
He was last seen rolling up a Woodbine, pouring himself a pint and settling down in front of the ITV racing.
