Did anyone else on here attend today's Open Training session?
I was there with my son and when it came to the signing & selfie session some of the players didn't stay behind, including Dunne , Morrison and Kone.
Oh, and some of the shooting in the practice matches from the likes of Kolli & Dembele were dreadful, although I was impressed with Varane's and wonder why he doesn't get forward more and shoot (perhaps that will change if Hayden plays in the deeper role and allows him to play the no.8 role). Anyway , my concern for the adults in the room , is much more about Saito not even training , but said he’s fit to play .
Let’s hope he doesn’t take too long .
Big concern that he hasn’t kicked a ball since his injury at Preston |

Yes, Kone had a pre season with Wycombe, yet has only been fit to be a sub.
Hopefully Saito, Kone and maybe RN-D, will start on Saturday. I wonder when Hayden will be fit to start. The sooner the better for me. We need a tougher midfield that will enable the attacking players to attack opponents. | | | |

I think you may have misunderstood being fit and available with not yet being integrated into the 1st team squad the same week they sign. I suspect there is a need for a couple of weeks of training with new team mates on (the supposed) club game philosophy and understanding the roles and patterns of play. I don’t think it is always the case of walk in the front door don a number 9 shirt and 2 days later just start upfront and play 90mins at Watford. |  |
