Had that same conversation last night. They are a decent team with little chance of struggling. They could win it.

I'm still angry that we didn't take the cups seriously enough under Koeman and Poch.

Baffles me as well Pat.

A well run team with a supportive owner and a good manager who more than likely will finish comfortably mid to lower in this season’s Premier League.

This season they could have possibly done a Crystal Palace and won a cup for the first time in their entire history but no they put out a weakened team and get done by Brentford at the first attempt.

Strange to say the least.

I think they view it the same way as we did when we were PL. It is far more important to stay up financially. No great for us fans I agree. But as a business you would of course prioritize staying up over any form of cup run.
