It's interesting that Will Still, is saying that the pointless, ridiculous passing left and right has to stop. The habit of doing this, is so entrenched. They were brainwashed by Russel Martin. The manager seemingly wants what we want, attacking forward playing football. No more possession based football. Its music to the ears. The proof is always on the pitch, but I am willing to give this manager a chance to implement the type of football he wants and what the majority of us want.
Will he be supported by the owners and board, with quality players? Over to you Sport Republic. I won't hold my breath.

Agreed, but to make the change WS needs 2 things: the right players and some time.
At the moment we still have lots of RM type players who prefer a slow game and short passes. If we want to get the ball forward quickly then we need some physicality. We need a centre forward who can hold the ball up and get on the end of things and we need pacy players who can get behind the defence.
Then he needs a bit of time to integrate the new players and change the habits of the old ones. It won't happen overnight. | | | |
