We are going to see continued increases, Miliband is making some very expensive guarantees for wind power development. As the technology develops there's going to be some very profitable wind generators. Better to move slowly with technology change rather than throw all the money you can at today's solutions. I don't think Miliband understands the speed of change that characterises technology development.
I now see the regulator has said that wind farm costs are partly responsible for driving up energy costs.

I dont know about green energy but the Germans and French are charging us enough for our nuclear energy to subsidize energy costs in their home nations...Let that sink in for a minute or two. |  |

Germany does not have a nuclear power stations so not sure how they can be charging us for non existent energy especiallyas there is not electricity interconnect cable between the UK and Germany. France provides 7% of our electricity and the National grid pay the market wholesale price for it. | |
