Since the FFP cycle eased last summer, it’s become clear the owners are significantly investing and continuing to back the club.
Not only are they covering millions in annual losses, but they are also now investing millions in transfer fees, alongside the millions previously provided for the fantastic training ground.

Any further transfers eg. An Edwards, and it’s clear the owners are funding it, and as they did last summer.

I thought Varane was 1m EURO, so around £800K and Dembele was £1.9m.
The rest looks rumour correct to me.
Also, remember rumours are we sold Armstrong for £1.5m (not including addons, which we won't get), Dykes for £1m and then this season Kelmen for £3.5m.
So, that's £5m back, and then there are the wages for Colback and Fox, which were rumours to be horrendously high after they kept us up. You can save a lot with that.
I think Smith cost some money as well.
Apart from the obvious Celar and Madsen mistakes, most of these look reasonable Champ prices, some are cheap like Kone.
Some are a steal, like Morrison and Mbengue.
I worry that we have overpaid for Saito and will overpay for Edwards if that happens. |  |

BBC Sport reckoned we paid £1.7m for Celar and Transfermarkt has us spending €2m, so that's another 800k back too. I think it was £1.7m + addons so with his poor performance I doubt he reached those. | | | |

Whether they are directly funding them or not, they still have to remain within FFP limits. Of course, FFP allowed deficits are a contribution to overall losses which Ruben funds. | | | |

Isn't there also something where transfer fees can be spread over the length of the contract, whereas sales are banked straight-away in the accounts for FFP? |  |
