I was at the game. An excellent free kick but today was a masterclass of defensive midfield play. He is incredibly neat and tidy on the ball and never gives it away. A big reason why Hampton and Richmond are ridiculously out performing this season. 3-2 win against Ebbsfleet. Full timers. We train Tuesday and Thursday evening!

Is that a hat-trick for Celar? I hope so. More goals = more likely for them to buy him at the end.
Two cracking free kicks as well. Really hope he does well for them this season, as we know he is a good finisher if given chances. Still could turn a profit on this one.

Its kind of irritating seeing this.
Three great hits from outside the area by Celar.
Did not do this once last season.
Where was this kind of form last season.
I would assume sell on fee set in loan with option to buy at end of this season.
I think if you look at the second goal, they are backing off and backing off and so he has time to shoot, I just don't think that happens as much in the Championship. Lots of players can strike it really well under no real pressue, and he can, but the question is how many shots can you get off in a game, and how good will they be. For me, that was one of his biggest issues.
Hopefully he will be in a league where he gets that space, in a system that helps him also. If so, with any luck, he has a great season with great numbers and moves on succesfully.

Kone is still miles better than Old Coal Cellar
AND WHEN I DREAM , I DREAM ABOUT YOU AND WHEN I SCREAM I SCREAM ABOUT YOU!!!!!
God bless him and I hope he does well there, but Celar was unforgivably bad for almost half a season up front for us - offered literally nothing. The two games before he got injured there was something and maybe he’d finally got the hang of the Championship and was unlucky, but then he re remerged for the start of this season and continued to do fk all.
Watching Kone spend all the Charlton game wrestle hard with his centre back Jones (who I thought did really well) including a flying knee to the chest before scoring reminded me of what a centre forward should be doing.
Celar just seemed like the easiest bloke to mark ever, always three yards away and never ever interested in a battle or fighting for space
