Interesting line-up Durham, certainly a bold move starting Tovide on the bench. I don't necessarily disagree, but I suspect we're more likely to see him start, then bring on Mbick for the last 30 and see what he can do.

We go back to the starting XI against Barnet, Mbick on the bench.

I'm sorry but Hunt and Anderson are simply not good enough yet they both start.
Anderson not creative and Hunt cost us the goal.
Get them both off.

Plenty of options on the bench.
Must make changes early.

Two out of three not quite good enough.

Micah Mbick must come on.
Quote we've brought him here to play so play him

Mbick on, but to be fair, Tovide's had a really good game.

Decent game I thought. We deserved the win, but Crewe defended like their lives depended on it, and we just weren't sharp enough. Edwards brilliant, getting back towards what we know he can do. Lisbie though, what a player to bring off the bench. Crewe were a good side, but we were better.

Well Lisbie took four minutes to score from being brought on.
Why are we leaving our major goalscorer on the bench for most of the game? It is not because he is old and decrepid. Come on boss, play the lad from the start.
And I'm getting pretty fed up with 1-1's especially as I haven't forecast any this season because of the flack I received last season. May just go back to that score next week!
Still I won't get too much flack from daughter as Crewe beat Spireites 7-1 on Tuesday.

I'm okay with Lisbie coming off the bench for now. His pace is far more effective against leggy defenders who've already played 60+ minutes, and probably one or two already on a yellow card.

Meanwhile, England are dominating the powerhouse that is Andorra (population roughly equivalent to Ardleigh) 1-0 at halftime.

You are being incredibly generous. From where I was sat in the East Stand, he looked very ordinary. One or two decent passes but was nowhere to be seen when the ball was in the box. Never looked like scoring. Lisbie continues to pose a huge threat. I would give Mbick a start. Araujo looks excellent. Powell only started to pass the ball forward in the second half. Iandolo is badly missed.

Really annoying if you're recording a match for when you get home and someone randomly mentions the score!! ☹️

Not generous at all, I thought he had a good game.

A breath of fresh air with the substitutions.
Three guys who played up front for the final twenty minutes looked proactive, creative and worried the defence than what when on before.
A draw was a fair result has both teams showing that a play off place is at present beyond them.
Missed Thorn who got to the byline, but Lisbie winning the free kick for the goal showed a quickness of feet that is beyond most at this level .

I agree with you. Tovide offered very little and was the poor version that we see 9/10 games. When Mbick came on he had more shots, he brought others into the game, made intelligent runs, and was more interested in winning the ball than fighting with the opposition. I look forward to seeing more of Mbick in the future.
