Week 6 results BOLTON WANDERERS 3 AFC WIMBLEDON 0 Bolton broke a run of four successive 1-1 draws with this comfortable win against 9-man Wimbledon. 19 had the outcome. DONCASTER ROVERS 3 BRADFORD CITY 1 All the goals came in the first-half, as Doncaster inflicted a first defeat this season on Bradford. 16 got the outcome, with 10 going for a 2-1 in what was equally the weeks most predicted score. PORT VALE 2 LEYTON ORIENT 3 Port Vale are still waiting for a first win this season, as Orient get a 95th minute winner. 11 had the outcome. CAMBRIDGE UNITED 0 OLDHAM ATHLETIC 1 Michael Mellon scored the winner on Oldham debut for his manager and dad Micky. Well done to basher2010 for being the only one to have this spot-on, and nobody got the outcome. 20 predicted a win for Cambridge. MILTON KEYNES DONS 2 GRIMSBY TOWN 3 Grimsby survived a second-half fightback from 10-man MK Dons, as they nearly throw away a three goal lead. 3 had the outcome. 19 predicted a win for MK Dons with 10 going for a 2-1 in what was the weeks other most predicted score. SALFORD CITY 3 TRANMERE ROVERS 1 Ex-U's Luke Garbutt and Ossama Ashley scored for Salford in this victory. 13 got the outcome. Wow 😲 what an amazing week. Loads of goals overall, but with five of the winning teams scoring 3, none of those games produced a 3 pointer. In what I think is unpressidented for a 6 game week, there was just the one 3 pointer this week from the other game. That was achieved by basher2010 in getting the Oldham 1-0. He also had four outcomes to make him the weeks top scorer with an excellent 7 points. Only failing to get the Salford win to give him a full house. Best of the rest, who all got four good outcomes, were Jorash63, Sector4 and unitedwhites. We are now exactly one seventh of the way through the season, and those 40 games have produced 20 home wins, 11 aways, and 9 draws. The 1-0 is the top result with 8, that is 3 more than the next best the 3-0. In the Premier Not a lot to report from this division with only outcomes for everyone, but Jorash63 did increase his lead by a couple of points, as he took his run at the top to four weeks. The only changes have Sector4 moving up a couple of places to fourth, and mfb_cufc moving up a place, thanks to the first to post rule, but remaining in the relegation zone. In Division One Not a lot happening in this league either. One outcome was enough for BFG to continue his 100% run at the top that started at flag fall. The most significant change has durham_exile moving up a place into the other automatic spot, and bringing an end to noah4x4 holding that position since Week 1. The only other change has basher2010 moving up three places, thanks to his top scoring performance, and to within 3 points of the play-offs. THE TABLES (40 out of 280 played) (Tie-breaker: Most 3 pointers, and then the first to post) Week 7 Fixtures 10 games picked by this weeks guest oxfcolu.
