Yes, it's a club with no soul. It's run by absolute imbeciles. It was obvious at the beginning of the season when we appointed an unknown manager that has never played on a football pitch, never managed in England, his players don't listen to such a quiet, weak voice and gave him an unknown striker from an inferior league. I would think it was more likely to be either a Spors inspired signing or someone unearthed by the Gimberts in the recruitment department responsible for bringing the likes of Orisic, Lyanco, ect , ect, to our door.
Yet again, instead of doing the right thing for today by signing a proven forward who can actually score goals in this division, thanks to the SR muppets we get another ‘promising’ player for the future. In his case, I’d venture to suggest the promising aspect where Downs is concerned is promising to do better the next time he gets minutes on the pitch… Piroe, no longer guaranteed minutes with Leeds in the PL, would have been similar money and delivered 20 goals this season, something Downs will never be capable of doing. | | | |
