People talk about our attendances, Blackburn had 11,000 last night with about 300 Swans fans so they had well under 11,000 home fans. Have we ever had that low for a championship game down the .com ?

I just ignored it. Because as a Cardiff patron he feels he is doing South Wales a favour and this is the reason the Senedd should be completely restructured or removed. The point I was hoping to make was that other areas outside South Wales are just as deserving if not more so.

Possibly this should no longer be on the football board as it has digressed.

There are places in mid and north Wales that definitely need investment more urgently than Swansea/NPT

No wonder attendances are low. To buy Man City ticket you have to jump through hoops. Site tells me they are no longer on sale

It was the traffic, I mean the weather, pool on the tv or maybe it’s just league 1 playing some non entity place I don’t even know where it is. burton? And there 38 fans. Ffs. I’m amazed 15000 turned up to be honest. It’s pure cardiff city to lose that one, only 90% possession first half too. I don’t know why folk were getting so excited to be honest. Manager made a massive mistake not playing Joel Colwill, we would have shipped 4/5 past them if he’d started.

I was in Cardiff having a few beers , one of the Boys, left early and came back to the pub , he said no way there was 15 000 there more like 10 , he is a Cardiff fan i must add

Correct, 5000 season tickets holders failed to turn up. Actual attendance was about 10,000.

Happens all the time everywhere, particularly midweek if you’ve for instance bought a ticket for the family stand, kids aren’t going to go are they? Another sub 15000 home fans for you lot today I see. Even the carrot of 3rd or 4th place wasn’t enough. Snoop needs to get down there and sort it out

No worries, I doubt you would see many for a mid week game it’s a bit of a rush post work and getting into town. Dropped the wife off in town that evening eve and couldn’t believe the amount of students, everywhere, 100’s of them….so many new bars in town. Went to flight club last week, decent night out if you e not been.

" Typical bitter Jack"

There he is, the REAL bennytheblue. Every so often I remind people what you really are and for some reason they ignore it. Fair play, in that regard you are great. But I see the real you, snide and bitter.

My only thoughts are that Cardiff followers seem still to delight in the fact they are in league one, and not even at the top. It’s baffling. But I get Bennys humour.

Thank goodness Keith…..
The league one thing is a bit strange, I get the change of scene and new clubs to travel too, I don’t think anyone will miss going to Preston, Ipswich, Norwich, Burnley, West Brom this year as we’ve all been there many many times. I think if we stayed in league one the novelty would wear away quite soon and I don’t think it’s a given we will get promoted, even Orient looked good in comparison and if they had a defence they would have won.

He's Goat on Anus's site , the real Benny is there for all to see so folks don't be taken in by his "friendly" banter ., which I know you aren't.

In reality our attendances this season are actually a bit higher than they were at the start of 2010/11. Indeed, we played Leicester around the same time of the year and there was actually about 2,000 fewer there then than on Saturday.

Our hardcore support seems to have coalesced around the 14,000 mark, which to someone who first started going to The Vetch when a crowd of 4,000 was seen as a good one is still a huge leap for us as a club from those days.

In common with our cousins in the East, and those weirdos up North, we do have a large floating, or to be uncharitable "glory" support. Ours will start reappearing if we begin to challenge at the top end, Wrexham's will start disappearing when they hit a rut. That is unlikely to ever change.

For me the gaps in the family stand are the biggest concern.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.
