I thought it was a great film but I came out of cinema and a complete stranger asked me if he could me a question and then said 'when was the last time you watched a film as bad as that?' so I guess it won't suit everyone!
Fast-paced, big budget Hollywood movies with big name stars running around trying to kill each other, are big box office, but they don't appeal to everyone.

How about giving it a rest ? 22 has every right to post on here. It’s becoming dull now.
It’s an excellent film by the way.

No. I'm probably unfairly prejudiced against Hollywood movies, so I rarely watch them, but most people seem to like them, and this one gets very good reviews.
The last (sort of) American film that I really liked was Past Lives, and I doubt that anyone else on here would want to watch that as it's about as far away from Hollywood glamour as you could get.

Past Lives is an excellent film An example of what Hollywood does well and in turn does wrong where it then gave the director a lot of money to make the Materialists which was nowhere near as good but in a similar vein

Just left the cinema after watching this. What a great film. The near 3 hours flew by. Great cast and story.
The only bit I didn't really warm to was the creepy old white men, sitting round the table in their secret society with their closing mantra of "All Hail St Nick". That made me think of a chilling dystopian society, where the living would envy the dead.

Sounds like The Overdraft on a match day hon.
We thought that we had the answers,
It was the questions we had wrong.
