Week 11 results LEYTON ORIENT 4 DONCASTER ROVERS 0 Dom Ballard hit a hat-trick as Orient crushed Doncaster. Nobody got this spot-on, but 12 did have the outcome. STOCKPORT COUNTY 1 BLACKPOOL 0 Joseph Olowu scored a second-half header as Stockport battled to a hard-fought win. 3 had this spot-on, and a further 19 got the outcome, with 10 going for a 2-0 in what was the weeks most predicted score. WIGAN ATHLETIC 0 WYCOMBE WANDERERS 1 Wycombe continued their resurgence under new manager Michael Duff by beating Wigan to move clear of the League One relegation zone. Well done to noah4x4 for being the only to get this spot-on, and another 3 had the outcome. 16 predicted a win for Wigan. CHESTERFIELD 2 SALFORD CITY 0 Chesterfield bounced back from their Colchester hammering by claiming a home victory over Salford. Only basher2010 and oxfcolu had this spot-on, and a further 13 got the outcome. FLEETWOOD TOWN 3 HARROGATE TOWN 2 Substitute Ryan Graydon scored the winner as Fleetwood twice came from behind to beat Harrogate. Another game with no 3 pointer, though 17 did have the outcome. SHREWSBURY TOWN 2 CAMBRIDGE UNITED 0 Shrewsbury moved out of the League Two relegation zone as they picked up their first home league victory of the season. A final game this week with no 3 pointer, and only Blue4U2 and burnsieespana got the outcome. 19 predicted a win for Cambridge. For some reason in these Internation break weeks, 3 pointers are hard to come by, and this one was no different. With a 4-0, a 3-2 and a shock win for Shrewsbury, it was left to the other 3 games for the spot-ons, and they didn't prove to be that easy either, only producing 6 in total. So it was a good effort from two members to get two each. They were oxfcolu, who had the wins for Stockport and Chesterfield, and three outcomes, to make him the weeks top scorer with a superb 9 points. Only failing to get the Shrewsbury win for a full house. Also noah4x4, who got the 1-0 wins for Stockport and Wycombe, and two outcomes, to give him an excellent 8 points. Best of those to have one 3 pointer was basher2010, who had the Chesterfield 2-0 and four outcomes, to give him a decent 7 points. He also only missed out on a full house by failing to get the Shrewsbury victory. Happy Cup With the FA Cup 1st Round draw taking place on Monday at 18.30 (Colchester are ball no. 16), that means it is time for the Happy Cup 1st Round. With 24 members taking part, and the need for 16 to be in the 2nd Round, there will be 8 games of 3 members, with the top 2 scorers going through. All the details for the 1st Round will be on a separate thread once the dates for the FA Cup 1st Round have been confirmed. In the Premier The last 6 game week in Week 9 only produced one 3 pointer in this division, and that act was repeated again this week, meaning there are only a few subtle changes to positions. Three outcomes for Sector4 were enough for him to take his reign at the top to five weeks. Three outcomes also for Jorash63, and he moves up a place, and back into the other Charity Shield spot. The one 3 pointer came from Daniel, with the Stockport 1-0, and he moves up place, and back into the top half. The final change came from ghughes11 continuing his resurgent run, as four outcomes moved him up place for the third week running. In Division One The other five 3 pointers were in this league, but they produced even less change. The excellent week for noah4x4 took his run at the summit to five weeks, and enabled him to increase his lead to a very healthy 13 points, as he continues to show the sort of form that has won him the Division One title twice in the past. Four outcomes for Tropical_Us moved him up a place, and back into the other automatic spot. The decent week for basher2010 wasn't enough for him to move up, but more importantly he moved to within 2 points of the play-offs. The top scoring performance from oxfcolu moved him up a couple of places, and now within sight of the play-offs THE TABLES (78 out of 280 played) (Tie-breaker: Most 3 pointers, and then the first to post) Week 12 Fixtures BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION v NEWCASTLE UNITED BIRMINGHAM CITY v HULL CITY COVENTRY CITY v BLACKBURN ROVERS PLYMOUTH ARGYLE v AFC WIMBLEDON GRIMSBY TOWN v GILLINGHAM MILTON KEYNES DONS v CREWE ALEXANDRA Good luck everybody. | |
