Farage 17:16 - Oct 12 with 2569 views | builthjack | So, he is going to; Stop taxes on the first £25k of wages Cut fuel duty by 20p per litre That will cost him ………………………….".."…." £120 billion Give the NHS another ……………………………. £17 billion Scrap the TV licence ………………………………. £4 billion Scrap business rates for small and medium companies. …. £18 billion That’s just a few things he has promised. There are many many more. If anyone believes him they are cuckoo. People read the Sun, Mail, Express etc, watch Sky news and get taken in. So far, 19 Tory MPs have gone over to Reform. A lot more will. So you have your Tories back, just with a different name. It really is laughable. Hoodwinked or what ? Naive ? Yes

Farage on 11:24 - Oct 13 by Joesus_Of_Narbereth | Not anywhere near as odd as voting for the sake of it for the least worst option for something you don’t actually believe in as millions in this country do. The right to abstain is a perfectly valid facet of the democratic process and it doesn’t come with the caveat that you can’t have any opinions on anything ever. |
Great post, but you do know that you're not allowed to moan if you don't vote, they can't see or won't admit that there is no one to vote for their answer is just vote, now that's very odd. Bob Jones is standing as an independent and he's likely to get half a dozen votes, so I 'll waste my time and go and vote for him, as long as I vote though

Farage on 18:48 - Oct 13 by lifelong | If you feel that strongly about the failure of the Welsh Labour Government why don’t you, and many others, vote for an alternative party rather than not vote at all? |
Do you feel that Welsh labour have consistently let down the electorate, and why do isn't Reform considered an alternative?

There are a few alternatives out there and it’s of no concern to me who you vote for, but to continually complain about those in power and then come out and say that you are not going to vote at all, just what is that going to achieve?

One could always say that the Senedd is not fit for purpose and that they are not prepared to vote in the current or new voting system. But if there was a referendum to abolish the Senedd they would vote. It is fair to criticise the current incumbents of the Senedd, as everyone knows they have done a terrible job and it is the reason the polls are saying that there will be a massive change in the Senedd after the next election. Personally I feel we were better off when we had a Secretary of State for Wales.

I understand and sympathize with the sentiment, but let me make a helpful tweak and say you meant: "When we had the Welsh Office". This was the department under the Secretary of State for Wakes until 1999, when the majority of its functions were transferred to the newly created National Assembly for Wales and the Welsh Government. However, the role of Secretary of State was retained and Jo Stevens is the current minister. She is supported by the Wales Office. This is a much less powerful body that supports the minister and promotes our country's interests. https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/wales-office

Wow these Politicians are running scared of Reform and will do anything even in a fragile pact to keep them away . Drakeford also chipped in , we lose this vote and Welsh Council Tax will rise by 20% per annum . Scare tactics or a real threat from a Labour Party in the mire in Wales . IF Farage wins next May he will inherit this upcoming decision and have to live with it and deal with it during his tenure in Tiger Bay .

He's got nothing else in his life, he retired to spend more time with his Wife, but she sadly died so he rejoined again I feel sorry for the man in that respect of course, but I wish he had taken up fishing or bowls or somin else instead of going back to politics

Bojo the liar made the claim leaving the EU and the saving £350 million per week . Feed the money back into our overstretched NHS , that will cure the problem , so now vote Brexit . That worked out well and that lovable scallywag resigned over other issues but was a fraud . Farage is taking an alternative route to get into the hot seat , another fraud maybe . Mark your X on the ballot paper and hope for the best .
Farage on 08:04 - Oct 16 with 417 views | trampie | A lot of people's view seems to be that Farage is a grifter, a lot of right wing people now seem to think he is a fake but he has seemingly convinced a lot of ordinary people to support him when it seems like he does not support them, he supports the rich and the elites, if people think the country is in a poor state now then I think it will be in a far worse state under Farage if he got in.

A lot of people think that two party politics is no longer an acceptable and Reform is the best option to break it. In Wales we also have Plaid so it comes to three party politics not being acceptable. If Plaid don't win Caerphilly next week and let Reform in the door it will be the turning point for Welsh politics. I think it could go either way.

Plaid could end up losing the battle in Caerphilly but winning the war in the Senedd, the 12%-15% Labour voters left in Wales, half of them might realise if Labour get wiped out in Caerphilly and Reform win the seat, that they need to vote Plaid next May to keep Reform out and Plaid are the only party able to do it.

That is true, but I think if Reform get a seat in the Senedd it would be a breaking the glass ceiling moment. The spotlight would be on this member for the 5 months in the run up to the Senedd elections. Publicity money just can't buy.

He's a grifter and a talking horse, he plays to the audience who want to hear all the right things and Farage does that with aplomb, there's no substance to his words though none at all, plus he has no idea whatsoever on how he's gonna pay for all the whataboutery he talks.
