A big problem with our recruitment is that it doesn't look as though it fits together e.g. why buy Fellows to supply crosses when the German forward you're buying says himself that he's no good at headers? Also, it's ok to buy some players who don't have much physicality but not if the squad you currently have doesn't have much physicality either. New players need to complement the existing ones and unfortunately we've had a lack of physicality in the squad for years. Too much tippy-tappy, not enough muscle, even before RM's time. | | | |
