They won't get more than a point anyway so protest all you like. Call the local radio, Meridian ( owned by that Skate coont) and the Echo and then make SR know how you feel.

Absolutely right. Make the owners feel really uncomfortable, make it hostile. Appointing inexperienced managers not up to the job, buying young, inexperienced players from inferior leagues, not up to the job. Enough is enough.

Yep. They had a group shot of them. It was pompey fans on their Guildhall steps. At first I thought it was 'The Committee", but the humour wasn't on their level, was it Franniestache? 😀

I am right in game protests don't help the team and when you protest you have to make the difference between the team whom we should all want to win and the manager and the club who are the ones that we are not happy with. Protest before and protest after, do all that you say in making your feelings known both before and after the game in every social media outlet you can. But as back in the 90's when we had the appetite for protest, you have to channel that energy for 90 minutes during the game, simple question, do you want Saints to beat Preston or would you prefer to see it lose ? ( None of the usual get out clauses ie I would rather lose if it gets the manager sacked)

Of course I want Saints to win, without question or qualification. Got a feeling that SR are not to bothered about noise from customers as they know they run a Saints football monopoly for home games. Suspect any impact on drink and food revenues will be dismissed as short term noise. Regardless of any noisy foreplay the paying customers are going to just have to lay back and think of 1976 for this season anyway

I can see about 20 of us being there. Fanzone/pub time will be more important. Never mind. League 1 is better than The Championship. No point being in a league where we can’t compete.

| PROTEST NEXT SATURDAY on 15:42 - Oct 26 by yateleysaint | Yes, Saints are their cash cow. Let’s see if they can make any money from Göztepe and Valenciennes without us propping them up with our hard-earned dosh, while being served up a load of shit on the pitch game after game. There’s much less TV money in the Championship so they’re more reliant on matchday revenue. Don’t buy anything from the club and don’t go to any games. If you do go to games then protest and make your voices heard. Don’t let them get away with it for any longer and don’t scapegoat the manager when the problems run much deeper than Still. |
Spot on. | |
