I haven't checked the stats but it sounds like Austin hasn't been out of the game with injuries much last season. So maybe he is the "right sort" & just plays through whatever injury he may be carrying. Better than the colossal fanny that is Jay Bothroyd if it's the case.

Work colleague is a Burnley season ticket holder. I asked him for his view of Austin. He said
" he is a 28 goals a season machine pal. Not sure he is ready for the Premiership but will be great for you in the championship. If you get him for anything less than £4m it will be a steal.
