Was due to see them this year for the 25th anniversary tour of the all change album. Saw them 10 years ago for the 15th anniversary of it. Some decent songs. Were they underrated? I’d put them on par with OCS.

Slowdive or Ride for me, JAMC also maybe late 80s to early 90s There’s a brilliant documentary called Beautiful Noise where Billy Corgan and Rob Smith cite Ridecas their most influential band
The 80's was my era & bands from back then will always be my "thing"... but I listen to Dishwalla & Matchbox 20 a lot - both underrated this side of the pond.
Old School is Cool

The title of most underated and band that should have been big in the 1990's has to go to ....
Pele
Easily the band I’ve seen the most. In my late teens it felt like they were playing in Liverpool every week, some great nights out, stage invasions all over the show.

Wow, I'd completely forgotten about Ride!! Great shout.
I tried to familiarise myself with the current UK top 10 last night. I wish I hadn't.

I 2nd that
I really liked Mansun as well.
I saw Paul Draper at Skatesmouth Wedgewood Rooms a couple of years ago doing a 20th anniversary tour of the Grey Lantern album. Fair to say the years have not been kind to him....
