Great to be back at a match. Looking forward to Wednesday already.
Millwall were pretty decent and were at us from the go. Felt we looked far better when we got the ball down. Dickie was obviously MOTM and Jordy was very solid too. Willock is class and posed a threat whenever he got the ball. Agree that the front two were anonymous. Liked the way Dozzell sprayed the ball around when he came on. And it's great to have a right back who looks dangerous going forward. We didn't deserve more than a point.

Yeah, I liked the look of Dozzell when he came on, moved the ball around nicely.

I can't decide if I think he should have started. In theory you want his technical ability to play through/over the onslaught and reset the tempo, in practice you suspect he might have been blown away.

Oh, and I still don't understand why he is so reticent to use Uncs. Thought he'd have been a good option for the last fifteen minutes as his crossing is so good.

Draw fair result today. Millwall were all over us until we got the equaliser and then we settled into the game and started to play our football. Rob Dickie is just getting better and better, that goal brilliant. We were playing far too left side early doors and Millwall had that sussed. Johansen got into his game stride and started to dictate. Thought Dom Ball played really well today and was driving us forward. Would have liked to have seen Adomah on instead of Thomas, who looks a little lightweight and could not hold onto the ball. Missed Chair today, as him and Willock really link up well. Austin and Dykes a bit annoymous, but that was probably due to a well set up Millwall defence.

I’ve always presumed it was lack of legs.

Very flat? Maybe it has just been a long time, but i thought the atmosphere was great, and it was a full-blooded, enjoyable derby, a bit light on quality maybe, but enlivened with 2 superb goals and plenty of attacking play. If you thought that was flat you’re going to hate it when we play Cov away in january. Hardly a classic, but i loved it!
Poor second half, neither team looked like they were going to score and the atmosphere reflected that. I've seen us play much better and rightly expected more.
I think there's a lot to look forward to with this team and there will definitely be some great games to come.
Glad you enjoyed it, it was big day for many and I'm not taking away from that. Anyway, if you thought today was a good game you're going to love Coventry away in January!

A much needed reality check and we should be grateful for it.
I thought a draw was probably the right result with some things looking good, others less so.
Dickie and de Wijs were fantastic and commanding but, at the other end, I was disappointed with Charlie and Dykes. Never really got going as a partnership, in my opinion, and I personally felt both were below par individually. Out of the 2 Austin was the biggest concern because he seemed to disappear too often and looked disengaged for a fair chunk too.
Onwards to Leyton Orient and a chance to set off on a long overdue run in the League Cup.
Yeah, I thought the same. The subs didn't really seem to give us much either in the last quarter or so, though Dozzell did OK. I don't really rate Thomas from what I've seen, and Ball, though always trying hard, generally falls a bit short too for me. We missed Chair and can improve, and hopefully will.

Thought the same - could have delivered some decent service to Dykes.

Based on Millwall's last season results, we had a higher than one in three chance of drawing against them (1:2.7) compared to our last season draw record of lower than 1:4 (1.4.2).
They had the highest draw record in the division with 17. Only 3 other clubs had 15 or more draws. We had 11.
Not massively surprising that we ended with that result.
