Here it is the matchday thread in front of people at last, where people normally go when these games take place with no people is anyone’s guess. To the toilet ? British Home Stores ? C&A ? Debenhams? Dereks Records? It’s all here the game against Prestonpans is here.
Joshua Smith, nee tree, will be the referee when Swansea City host Preston. The Bedfordshire official is taking charge of the Swans for just the third time, having had the whistle for the home meeting with Stoke and the trip to take on Fulham earlier in the season. So it was his fault then. Smith began refereeing in the EFL during the 2019-20 season, and was promoted to Championship duties last term.He will be assisted by Sam Lewis and Jonathan Hunt, nee 😂 while Leigh Doughty is the fourth official.
People called Preston
Preston Robert Tisch (April 29, 1926 — November 15, 2005) was an American businessman who was the chairman and–along with his brother Laurence Tisch–was part owner of the Loews Corporation. From 1991 until his death, Tisch owned 50% of the New York Giants football team and shared ownership of the team with Wellington Mara. Preston is dead now like a lot of people are, his brother Lawrence has a name on his house where he just lays around. You can only get in with a skeleton key. Preston’s brother lives behind this plaque
Preston the bloke called Preston : Age 40, His name is Sam. Non descript nonsense singer called Preston was in the ordinary boys, who were a band apparently. He fell off a balcony once and found out anyone who goes on big brother is a complete and utter knob ( male and female) Lived in America, he has done nothing for years, has a fork lift licence, and if he hasn't he should have. Preston isn’t dead but will be one day. Preston when he had a guitar

Swansea City v Preston North End : Matchday Thread 21/22 TUES UPDATE on 11:05 - Jan 22 by krunchykarrot
We are still slow and unbalanced at the back, so any cross ball in behind causes carnage.
Ain't got enough up front either, Lati lacks pace, I wonder what his first thought there was, surely it should have been to cross the ball, but I think it was to go down.

Total lack of pace agreed. Not enough effort for me, despite having the best chances, bar Ched Evans.
Poor Keith, summed up by the throwin at the end no urgency or endeavour, Ntcham trying to do to much with the ball, Piroe not getting a look in Christie looking our best bet of creating somin, but again he's being double marked, Grimes being Grimes, Down's nullified by being played far to deep.
A tale of two L1 managers unable to kick on, so far. A stale bore fest. Ironically, the MKDons vs Plymouth match a few weeks back was far more enjoyable.
1. Wolf for Lati, for pace, width and pinging it into the box instead of nada, then 2. KJ for Smith, for penetration and more guile, then 3. MO for Downes to play for the win
Tell Manning to stop cramping our CM style by clogging that space - stay wide for heck sake

Anyway I feel a beer is on the horizon

When Grimes gets the ball, his immediate thought is who to pass backwards to.
We need to be more attacking. I missed the first 10 mins but what I saw lacked any real intent to score backed up by no (?) shots on target.
It’s poor sorry to say. Hope the 2nd half sees us more threatening.

Basically ,medicore ,again. Nothing more to say really.
.
A tale of two right sided partings, on the sidelines ?
We need pace, zip and a commanding CB so that Downes pushes on more.
