Cardiff Match Thread 09:07 - Dec 24 with 34578 viewsBlackCrowe

Haven't started one for over a year so here goes...

Cardiff half time, QPR full time 25-1, seems tempting. Happy Christmas my fellow boarders.

Poll: Kitchen threads or polls?

Unfortunately, Cardiff have started as the better team in the second.

This one’s got 1-0 to Cardiff written all over it!

We're going to lose this aren't we. The 1967 away Boxing Day win looks fairly safe atm.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

It's a good job their finishing is sh it.

"Remember to listen to me but look at her. Don't get it the wrong way round. That would be hideous."

It's really not fair Cardiff have started doing things like passing accurately and running fast.

Because they're the lowest scoring team in the league.

Win, lose or draw I hope Critchley does not sugar coat this performance… it has been uninspiring to say the least

Get The Sedan on......

It’s frustrating because on our day (i.e. last weekend) we look a good team but we’re wildly inconsistent. Maybe we’re just an average championship team.

Battling to get back into Championship football after the World Cup. A fortnite ago the football was exciting and free flowing, now we're back to this negative poor quality slop. Usually after a WC you have a good six weeks starved of football before the league starts again so you're a little desperate for football where as this time around its straight back in like giving up the courtesy car for your old heap.

God this is dire. We’re so slow, so leaden, completely lacking in any attacking threat. Cardiff have been rubbish and would have been there for the taking with a bit more energy and ambition.

We’re so good when we move the ball quickly: what is it about the mentality of this group of players that means they so often come out with such sluggish, underwhelming performances?

We've decided never to leave our own end of the pitch. That'll do the trick.

Sounds like we aren't even average today. Like you say, we are frighteningly inconsistent, and this will always hold us back. Some of the winless runs in Clive's preview...were very sobering. And Blackburn still haven't drawn a game 😲

Chair, Roberts and Shodipo on for the front three

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."
