The QPR v Naaaridge match thread 16:04 - Apr 18 with 49001 viewsMonkey_Roots

Yes it’s early.

Head: QPR 1 - 3 Norwich
Heart: QPR 1 - 1 Norwich
Knob: QPR 3 - 2 Norwich

Which one will prove correct?

The plan is obviously to 4-4-2 them to death.

I quite like it,it's got the feeling of shit or bust.
Probably more shit than bust.
But it's our shit isn't it.

Laird, Stef, Dozzell all out, Drewe returns at RB, JCS and Tim back from injury, no sign of Sinclair.

I'd have been happy with this if we had Richards or Willock in over Martin but I'm not very hopeful

Is Laird injured?

My God, has he really picked that team. Change to one up front for Christ sake! Flood the midfield.

What position did Martin play against Watford? I seem to remember him being on the wing a lot and doing a good bit of defending/shithousing/using his experience etc

You can pay a tenner and stream it from the QPR website

https://www.qpr.co.uk/videos/live/live-matches/

Wait, you're saying that *we* have to pay to watch it rather than the club paying us?

Got to feel for Drewe in this team. Who’s supposed to be helping him out? Lowe? I fear for us tonight. Think it could be a massacre

My drink in Defectors was going well til I see 2 up top again.
Back to the 1970s.

Feel free to remind me of this post if we somehow win.

Back to the 1970s again, but not in a good way, I think we can all agree!

That 1970s team (well, until 1978) was basically Dutch 'total football' - an international goalie, full backs who could attack and defend, wily and robust centre-backs in Webb and McClintock, ball-playing midfielders like Masson and Gerry, an out-and-out whizzy winger in Thomas, a top goal-scoring striker in Givens, and a maverick but hard-working/team-playing no. 10.
SIgh!

Now we have a surly keeper, two centre-backs who don't know what day it is (and another made of glass), a rookie right-back, a lazy Tim, a creaking Chair, a wraith of a talent formerly known as Chris Willock who now plays like a pillock, a flaky Norwegian on a wedge North of a brain surgeon, an 'international' striker who should be playing for Cowdenbeath and a 'club spokesman' in the knackers' yard.

Apologies to anyone I've missed!

I'm predicting 1976 all over again. SIlly mistakes cost us, and we lose 2-3.

Apart from actually going to Loftus Road is there anywhere I can watch the game?

That team looks very worrying. Weak and changed again at the back. Only 2 in midfield. 1 too many big fellas up front.
