Don't think that is a bad thing as his limiting injury seemed to be rectified with the operation, we do need to keep a balance between experience and youth to offer his experience to our youngsters and our coach as both seem to need it. The games we were getting an hour out of him were the games we noticeably dropped off after an hour. Before that, when he was coming on for the last half hour, people were asking ‘why don’t we play like that in the first half’
Could be a disaster if he’s constantly unavailable, but if we can get an hour out of him most games, it’s well worth it. | | | |

I think in this case you have to look at what he brings as a whole not just playing time. Yes, tpthe number of games he plays has some importance but also his experience, knowledge and overall contribution to the intangibles must be considered. As long as the wage fits then I happy he’s going to be here. |  |

Robbins is a manager for the long term and was working in the interest of Coventry City.
