Crazy Law 10 mins for a yellow and then another 10 mins when that yellow is upgraded to a red, it's a ridiculous rule, brought in by the insistence of the Southern Hemisphere teams, and when you look at who replaced Ringrose it's a total joke and Aki virtually turned the game for Ireland MOM performance in that second half.
That aside Wales were excellent and future looks promising.

So much over coaching going on in both sports. It gets to the point where spontaneity is lost. Don't get me wrong Gatland was a perfect match for Wales in his first tenure but he had a good generation of players. Who could play his game plan. He didn't become a bad coach but had a poor record when he went back to New Zealand and totally played the wrong tactics for the Lions against an under cooked Boks side who were there for the taking.

It's complicated, and very murky. π
I've been told that some players have got around this rule, by signing "rolling contracts" and not fixed contracts for clubs outside of Wales!! π€
Here's some sort of an explanation ...
βIn the scenario where a player does not receive a reasonable offer to play for a side in Wales and leaves as a result, but has fewer than 25-caps, the new arrangement allows for the Rugby Management Board (RMB) and PRB to consider the playerβs eligibility to play for Wales."
βDuring this process the RMB will assess whether a fair and reasonable offer was made which would keep the player in Wales. If the RMB decides this is not the case the player can be treated as though his current contract outside of Wales pre-existed his selection for Wales."
"For clarity, this means that the player would need to return to Wales at the end of his current contract in order to continue to be eligible for selection, but that he also remains eligible for selection for the duration of that current contract."

The best try of the game was disallowed, I mentioned it in the pub yesterday that Scot Gibbs did something similar to what Murray did yesterday in scoring the winning Try at Wembley against the enemy years ago, why you can't skip over players to make headway in the game is a mystery, they want to see more tries scored then they bring in rules to snuff tries out.

I donβt know the rules well enough but if it was illegal then it should have been disallowed.
Now whether it was illegal or indeed should be is open to a lot of debate I think but like you, that sort of play should be allowed. Maybe not jumping over a body as it could be deemed dangerous but over outstretched arms, definitely should be.
It would have made the last few minutes very interesting.
Best team over the 80β win though and I think Wales have got a lot to work on from top to bottom.

England think they are going to win by 60 points, Wales are an a terrible run of 16 straight defeats surely Wales have zero chance against England ?, but are England overhyped ?, England have won 3 games this six nations already, but on the balance of play plus lots of luck and lots of fortuitous decisions should they have actually lost 3 matches this six nations ?, is this match really a foregone conclusion for England or will Wales get the rub of the green for once and cause an almighty upset ?
