I see Leicester are going to have a go at their plight!

What chance of that down here!

Another club fooled into taking a big name as manager, when he had zero experience or credentials really. That was never going to work out.

No chance of a protest - our fans are like cattle being quietly led to slaughter. It's one of the reasons I've stopped going - along with not wanting to give SR a single penny.

Things started to wrong with them when they bought Vestergard and Bertrand.

Lampard seems to be doing OK at Cov.

Think they are only a point off the play-offs now....

If I recall, there were many on here disappointed we didn't snap up Van Nistelrooy ahead of Leicester !

Same. If I can claw back a bit of my Season Ticket money, great.
If not no worries.
I’ll watch the weekly hammerings on TV at home.

Fúck Sport Republic and their tinpot manager.

We thought that we had the answers, It was the questions we had wrong.

I’m the same, I’ve already written off the money I spent on a season ticket, but f7cked if I’m going to give a penny more to SR at each game for programme, merch, beer etc.

Has there ever been a more depressing time to be a Saints fan?

Lampard did well in his first season at Everton and deserved credit for galvanizing a fan base that had completely turned against the club. There’s far too situation got far worse though, none of his doing really and he wasn’t experienced enough to turn the tide. I doubt many managers other than Dyche or Moyes could have done though.

The 2008/09 season was pretty bloody grim.

Yes it was although we did win 10 games.
Wembley was such a great day when we got promoted that we had expectations of really making an impact back in the premiership.
But 'boy'have we come down to earth with a bump.
Never have I seen a Saints side play so badly at home.
Never have I seen so many poor Managers in such sort space of time.
