We played them not long before they redeveloped,we had Emlyn Hughes and Gerry Francis in our ranks then, they were desperate times. I went and knowing the terrace was being ripped down soon, I made sure to get out onto it and stand in the middle, it was absolutely ENORMOUS. Hard to believe Charlton could ever get a crowd that large back in the day, over 75,000 back in 1938 for an FA cup 5th round tie. They average around 15k at the moment. |  | |  |
