Plus Wales cannot be the only nation in Europe without an airport.
HS2 fair funding would deliver … £3.9bn to Wales in compensation based on the total cost of HS2 reaching £66bn given the cancellation of phase 2.
Thats 8 times your airport.
Plus Brexit still costing uk.
the UK government's Office of Budget Responsibility calculated that Brexit would cost 4% of GDP per annum over the long term. a 4% GDP hit could translate into a £32 billion cost per annum to the UK taxpayer.
That would help out both our NHS and sports funding.

That's the only reason why hundreds of millions are being spaffed away on an airport that isn't even in Cardiff. Frankly anyone who lives outside the CF postcode area who actively advocates that the situation continues is basically a Quisling type. | |

I'd imagine the good citizens of Rhyl would prefer that their taxes go to providing services in their area as opposed to ensuring that the inhabitants of Splott don't have to drive an additional 30 minutes for their flight to Magaluf, but then I'm not a Moron.
If you actively support nonsense like the ongoing subsidy for Rhoose Airport then you're not pro-Wales. You're pro Cardiff. It really is that simple. Welsh Government exists entirely for the betterment of one city and about 400,000 people as opposed to a country and 2.6 million others.

Being honest if this was the Ospreys they would like the Celtic Warriors be gone. Down to 3 regions which what the useless wokey WRU have wanted for a while. However the nepotism the WRU will show Cardiff is no great surprise.
Lets go back to the start of the regions. Llanelli and Cardiff basically held Moffet to ransom so more or less became stand alone super clubs...they have never been regions!
Two years back Cardiff dumped the Blues name to become Cardiff Rugby. So confirming all along the facade of a region.
The WRU will now own The Dragons and Cardiff Rugby. They cannot afford this so the simple answer would be to amalgamate both. Will they no. They will once again show favourism to the the self titled ' greatest club in the world '. [Post edited 9 Apr 7:36]

It is a national asset. It provides a service I use. TfL has millions of users and makes losses occasionally and gobbled up bucket loads of ratepayers and taxpayers cash. No one says shut it down.
It is not Cardiff airport. Only 45 mins from Swansea. Second city syndrome arguments are not valid.
