Nothing to gain by doing it now and the bloke is a good man respected at the club. Seems a bit classless.

I think the owners brought him in with the expectation of reaching the play offs. They have lost five out of 6 games since playing us at just the wrong time. Losing today to Derby confirmed they won't make the play offs so target not met so Mowbray shown the door immediately.

At this rate West Brom are falling into our trap of being a Champ club only.
They have spent big money on wages for players like Karlan Grant, Daryl Dike, Grady Diangana, John Swift, Alex Mowatt, Jed Wallace, not to mention the prem loans which cost mega bucks as well.

Mowatt, Swift and Wallace who are all excellent players, are now the wrong side of 30 (Swift turns 30 in June). And it's showing as they get injured more often than before.
This means they have zero resale value. Their defence looks like it may need a refresh as well.

However, they do have some high assets in forwards with Maja, Dike, Grant and somewhat Diangana.

So, they need to replace the central midfielders and central defenders. A clever manager like Marti would sort all that out. If Rohl does not get snapped up, they should sign him as they need a squad rebuild. Do, that and they can challenge again.

Fail to get the right manager in and then the squad will be full of these expensive no resale value players who get injured a lot. And then that's that.

zzzzzzzzzz

Another one for Marti ? There’s going to be a lot of musical chairs this summer.

Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

That's Aaron Ramsey at Cardiff, James Morrison at WBA and now Jack Wilshere at Norwich as caretaker managers for the final weekends of the season. Very Prem early 2010s line up

Poll: Moses Odubajo - Stick or Twist?
