It was what it was. I listened to it on occasion on long drives home, and I always thought he had a great way with the older generation who probably helped with some comfort with heir loneliness.
He used to have some old fella phoning in from his nursing home on a regular basis .
Chris Needs used to singalong with E viva espania with him on air , probably that small gesture made the chaps day .
Do not think BBC Radio Cardiff had any complaints over that part of the broadcast .
Son of Mark who played for the Swans. Died many years ago at a young age.
Kendall got caught up in the Mark Samson Eni Aluko spat. They were trying to build a team bond with banter teasing and rough and tumble. Aluko took not too kindly to it and put the boot in in a House of Commons enquiry. She and her friend who is now on Talksport got a lot of support by the MPs but none from the other player in the squad.
Dan Ashworth was the only one willing to put up a good word for Samson.

What a hypocrite you are! banter teasing and rough and tumble, you aren't related to Samson by any chance
You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game

The two things you continually prejudice against, women and people of colour. Clearly misogyny and racist.
Craig is brilliant for old school northern soul and even classic disco.
Nothing beats Northern Soul, absolutely nothing! I took a Dutch mate to a Northern Soul event in the Patti Pavilion two years ago. He was utterly amazed, still talks about it to this day. Blown away by the music, the people, the dancing, the whole thing :-)

I am zero tolerance. The football club and many fans are not zero tolerant and prepared to engage in ethnic slurs.
Aluko is a lawyer and not aligned with her teammates. I had the same issue going drinking with the younger lads at end of work party. The said some mildly bad stuff including the boss but I would never repeat it on film. Samson dropped her from the team and was not playing well. She made Samson and Kendall pay. She is a dry lawyer.
She took on Wrighty and came a cropper as she has little charm.

Barry Town dont seem to think much of him, he resigned as their manager just weeks before their return to the Cymru Prem. Replaced by former Swan Steve Jenkins, i think ….. 🦢

I cant tremember if he was a guest at our wedding or someone elses, he had a Souness hair style at that time!....he had a charity shop in his home village , and was also in an episode of High Hopes, where it looks like he didnt have a washing machine!......

He resigned and was not sacked. These things happen with tight budgets etc . His wiki page is stacked with qualifications and high profile goal keeping stints. Huw does not employ duffers.

Thats why i said resigned.
He released the club captain who helped get Barry promoted from Cymru South, and then decided to resign with just weeks before season started. Left the club in the shite.

Still not popular at all with the Barry faithful.
I have no idea on his coaching abilities.
It's all about the narrative. Resignation is usually an indication the manager was not happy with the club not the other way around. Managers rarely resign at Professional level.
Swansea fans would never argue Swansea were not impressed with Steve Cooper or accuse him of "leaving the club in the shite just weeks before the season started" . SC did actually volunteer to take Pre season which was to his credit.
It is all about perspective which why I made this "stuff happens" comment.
I will not mention a certain Swedish Centre forward".

Well obviously yes.
I am only telling you that Barry were pretty upset.
