He worded his reply very well, said he would do his best until his last day at the club. He did not say he would be here next season or that he has no interest in other positions.
Wild horses couldn't drag me away...

Yeah basically said nothing other than that he's an employee of the club and will do his best until he no longer is. Wouldn't have expected him to say anything else either.

He talked about how his 3rd seasons are always very good and that his intention is to keep working at the club, how clear does he have to be?

I may be wrong but I think he's only ever managed a club once into a third season?
Edit again, no he does say third. Which is odd, can only see one third season

3 including youth teams but the point remains the same. He has addressed this without even being questioned, absolutely on his own accord. I think that says a lot

So once then at senior level, though he is technically right I suppose. But yeah I think it does say a lot too on reflection, to me it is him pushing it back to the owners and saying there is a way that he stays at the club. But who knows

He didn’t need to say anything about the speculation as he sure as hell wasn’t going to be asked about it. He clearly talked about next season and being under contract etc so that makes The Sun’s ‘exclusive’ look about as accurate as their one about our incoming pointe reduction in 2011.

Yeah, he seemed to me to be talking about staying.

Positively ambiguous is a pretty good way to describe Marti in the Dave Mc interview. I think Marti is pretty good at talking without saying too much. He'll have been media trained so will know how to answer difficult questions.

I think the main thing is that he wants more say in the transfers, but this is what Clive has been saying for a while anyway isn't it? Either way, hope he stays a long time
In the words of Cptn. Blackadder “something smells fishy here and I’m not talking about the contents of Baldrick’s apple crumble”.
I think Dave Mc’s delivery style when I have seen him on pods with Kev Gallen has come across as monotone and disinterested any time I listen to him, that might not be fair. However the editing and production of that interview seems like neither wanted to be there as if it had been set up by other parties and they both had to sit through it.
Not looking for conspiracy theories but the timing and tone of that interview just feels all meh!
After listening to this again this morning I can’t help but think that Dave Mc would rather be anywhere else talking about anything but QPR. Like someone kept Droopy awake for 72 hours, gave him Ketamine and then said “get under this guy’s skin for 9 minutes”
All a bit peculiar for me all round .

Dave Mc has always looked and sounded like an android that's just woken up after dreaming of electric sheep.

Ha! That is just how Dave Mc is, and always has been. Nothing to do with being disinterested or pushed into doing anything.

Yeah heard him on the WLS pod before and various press conferences etc over the years . I was just being facetious really but if ever anyone truly sounded QPR’d …it’s Dave 😀

I'd say it's pretty fair, Boshinho.
I think Dave and WLS' very grumpy one would really benefit from 'smiling before dialling' and at least try to look like they're enjoying themselves. Compare with Hoopsa's offerings and its like the shipping forecast v. Martin Luther King's 'I have a dream' speach.
Delivery styles aside, at least DMc's questions are more on point and not something you need to extrapolate out of a long rambling diatribe.
