Sports Witness are reporting today that Standard Liège have terminated Bazanu’s loan spell early and sent him back to Southampton. The official reason is that he has returned early for treatment on a new knee injury - however, Belgian media outlet Sudinfo reported that Bazunu played just eight games, keeping one clean sheet and conceding 15 goals. Sudinfo say he ‘hasn’t been reassuring at all’ since he arrived in Belgium, meaning the stopper wasn’t convincing say Sports Witness. In Bazunu’s defence he does appear to be quite a decent footballer with his feet, just pretty hopeless with his hands.

Did you say Ten Year Plan? God help us. SR haven't got a serious 5 game plan. Despite Spors, their 'model' will still fail. Does it matter if we get promoted next year without serious football savy owners? We have to acquire at least five Premier quality players and bed them on this year. That ain't happening. The 3 going up from the Champ now, will come straight back down. They're simply not good enough and I'll be shocked and delighted if we are over the next two seasons.
