Burnley Reflecrion 15:40 - Apr 26 with 2907 views | bluenwhite10 | Last Home game of the season and an opportunity to go out and give the fans a send off for the summer and a chance to spoil someone else’s party. Well none of that happened as good as Burnley were as pathetic QPR was. Yes I get a bigger budget gets you better players but no excuses for a lack of effort and work. A massive reset needed from top to bottom. If Marti stays which I don’t think he will be then he needs an input on the players coming in as the players that have come in don’t seem right for the style he wants to play and if he stays go away in the summer a devise a plan B as that is something I don’t think we have at the moment but maybe injuries and personnel is dictating that. So much work work needs to be done in so many areas and Mr Dubai needs to go to as the job he is doing does not seem to work with him working remotely with the amount of players out I injured. Enjoy the summer and I suppose the only good thing that happens in football is that change can happen quickly. Come on you R’s

Burnley Reflecrion on 15:56 - Apr 26 with 2621 views | Paddyhoops | Missed my first home game in years as result of being diagnosed with a detached retina a couple of days ago . Operated on yesterday at the western eye hospital a couple of miles away from HQ. Kudos to NHS staff there . They put in a a hell of shift which is can more than said for our lot today . Cracking side Burnley and some performance for a side who were “apparently” still half cut . Most of our side who played today won’t be there next season . A fit Field , Cook , Jake and Saito would have shaved two goals off that result. That’s about it. Anyway enough of my one eyed views. Happy holidays everyone .
Burnley Reflecrion on 20:43 - Apr 26 with 2222 views | robith | Abject, abysmal and unacceptable. I'm usually a happy clapper but I was stunned at how easily people accepted that. People posing for photos with Ashby after he'd turned in a 1/10 performance. We discussed at halftime what our limit was, and mine was 5-0. Classic that the dossers let that in the 91st minute. I've endured a lot of this club, but that genuinely has damaged my connection to this group of players and management irrevocably

Ashby won’t be turning out for Newcastle any time soon. I’ve held my council on this fella for too long . Nowhere near good enough for us . Most of the time he’s been abject. Not the only one mind.

Boro at home broke me and this was just an extra kick to go into the summer . Yeah, we had a good spell playing vs a load of dross and got the points we needed in Dec - Feb but they always revert to type. I’ll renew but have zero faith next year will be any better with this ownership, management and squad.

I think it might be worse and we finally drop. We just aren't up to this level in so many ways at the moment. With our resources...we are really mid table L1. That is the stark reality for the foreseeable future as well. Won't matter who we buy or who is manager. I of course do not invest my time and money anymore the way you and the rest of our fantastic supporters do. You are the real QPR.All of you give yourselves some quality time over the summer... and forget about Rangers 🙂 | | | | Login to get fewer ads

That was incredible. Walks round the pitch taking the acclaim and signing autographs like he'd put in an heroic match-winning performance. We're 4-0 down. You've pretty much been appalling all season and we signed you instead of Isaac Hayden which is like turning down Salma Hayek for a night with Bella Emberg. [Post edited 26 Apr 23:49]

Burnley Reflecrion on 06:02 - Apr 27 with 1610 views | rbee | And if he refused to sign autographs and pose for selfies he would still get criticised. Burnley played very well yesterday looking every bit the team sitting in the top position. Of course we made it easy for them but we were probably on that beach, that everyone talks about on here, after a physically and emotionally draining roller coaster season. I am already dreading next season! 22 points separates Cardiff in 24th, last, place and Coventry in 6th place. But then 28 points separates Coventry from second placed Leeds. The gap between 6th and 2nd should be larger but Sheffield United have lost 4 of their last 6. If relegated Southampton, Ipswich and Leicester are more Burnley than Luton next season, promoted money bags Birmingham and Wrexham continue their momentum it's going to be tough. Lots of talk recently about The Premier League becoming a 17-club division if the 3 promoted sides get relegated each season because they cannot financially compete, The Championship is heading in the same direction with money doing all the talking. Still happy to stick with Marti. Towards the end of this season he got his second string playing better than his first string at the beginning of the season.
Burnley Reflecrion on 08:52 - Apr 27 with 1320 views | davman | Agree with the OP. No excuse for that level of effort at all. No pride, no fight, no desire to do better. Only Varane came out with any sort of credit from that s**tshow yesterday. Although I am not allowed to have a view on some players according to a few on this board, I can't help but comment on a few of them. Kolli offered nothing and showed a fair few signs of petulance out there. Adel was allowed that as he had the talent. Seen very little from Rayan that backs up the positive ness from some in and around the club. Been given his chance in the last two games and is way, way, way off the level. Still needs a season long loan down the Pyramid in my view. Dembele continues to disappoint. So weak, so easy to defend against whilst offering nothing defensively. Promising start this season, but since his return from injury, his performance level is pathetic. Madsen. There might be a player in there, but he needs to be deeper as he cannot (or won't) press and is another one who is simply unaware on what is going round him. Paal - disinterested all season. Waste of space. Clearly a talented player, but he never looked like he WANTED to be here. Ashby - done alright the last few games, but there must be better and cheaper out there. Dunne. Carried us in the early part of the season and whilst we will miss him (we will), he has been phoning it in somewhat the last few games. My brother is a Palace fan. We are the feeder club that gave them Eze. He is having soooooo much fun following his team. I am having very little following mine. Depressing.
