Anyone going to Sunderland, we salute you !! 10:05 - Apr 27 with 3156 views | numptydumpty | We need to know who you all are..... Not sure if you are immense fans, or some of your screws aren't connected, but after the last few seasons we have had, a dreadful home defeat, it's unbelievably impressive support and for a 12.30pm kick off, the other end of the country... We definitely have our strongest fanbase, home and away for many many decades.... [Post edited 27 Apr 10:06]

There will be more than that I reckon.Probably nearer the 1,000 who went to Preston.God knows why,but it should be a good night out anyway.Or two for some of us who couldn’t decide whether to stay on the Friday night or the Saturday.
Anyone going to Sunderland, we salute you !! on 11:32 - Apr 27 with 2181 views | OldPedro | Only a 2 hour drive for me, so taking my 2 kids. I was looking forward to it until yesterday. Hopefully our performance will be more like Preston 2nd half!

Going up the night before and staying in Newcastle. Didn’t fancy the trip up on the day. This will be ‘50 not out’ for me as I complete the full season having watched every single minute home and away. That is of course providing I survive Friday night in the toon.

Anyone going to Sunderland, we salute you !! on 12:06 - Apr 27 with 2003 views | Rsole | Would everyone still go if Marti has left and taken Xavi (aka Axel) too by then ? Who would take over in that scenario ? That would be a tough call if it was me but I would be interested in the fantastic away support base’s views and what you guys would do ? An empty away end might not be as powerful as absence at home but it would be noticed. Having been away regularly when I was younger, I can totally appreciate that it’s not just about the team, the result and performances but when you take event events into account, I seriously wonder if people have been tested enough this week based on recent comments.
| Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

My brother did mention giving the football a miss and just going straight to the pub,but we all need something to ruin a good weekend,so football it is then.
Anyone going to Sunderland, we salute you !! on 12:17 - Apr 27 with 1961 views | HammersmithR | I need my head tested. I booked it a few weeks back. I think I’d rather sit in an empty room and stare at an empty wall for 90 mins. Yesterday was gutless and embarrassing. I suspect the same at Sunderland. Need the summer to brace myself where we spend another 46 games where the simply aim is to stay in the Championship for the 487th time! Zzzzzzzz Actually annoyed me after the game yesterday when I went to the box office to actually buy a Sunderland match ticket and renew my 2 season tickets. I go there and suffice to say the box office is closed! You can’t even give QPR money. We are just so non-league on so many levels. Only thing that will cheer me up by Saturday is if Nourry has handed in his notice to the board. He’s probably playing Football Manager with his other grad mates online as we speak. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Anyone going to Sunderland, we salute you !! on 12:18 - Apr 27 with 1942 views | Malintabuk | It's a game to far for me I'm afraid. The family are going up as we have relatives in Hartlepool, who are Mackams, and are going to the game together.. For me and my brother it was the end for us yesterday I'm afraid Not so much the match but the end, allowing Burnley to celebrate like that in front of our supporters was the final straw for me this season. Lucky this wasn't a game from the 70/80s as that could got very nasty very quickly. I'm over 70 but was fuming seeing that happen. Hope all that are going have a good game, you guys deserve something special

This says a lot about what is wrong with the club. Should have told them f off and do it else where. Need to improve home form starts with a fortress mentality. This is our ground our place now poke it and do one. This is doable, especially with the ardent support we have at the moment. Make the place uncomfortable for any no rangers, on the field and off, during the game before and after, if we had picked up a few more wins at home, we could have been chasing playoffs certainly would be in better spirits now and going into next season.

We had the same in 2009 and 2010 with wba and Newcastle in consecutive years and it was our turn the following season. I guess you might not have gone to Watford to see us celebrating in our last away game in the same way that Burnley did yesterday? Why shouldn’t they celebrate a great win which might win them the championship? We couldn’t get anywhere near them yesterday apart from when we were shaking hands at the start and end of the game. Good luck to them as I think they’ll need it next season.

My youngest JnrJnr has done the same - every game, every minute for 2 seasons now. Going up and doing the weekend up there.

I was at the Watford game and that not only was the last game of the season, it was also the Fraulin episode where we thought we might have not gone up Burnley are at home this weekend... celebrate at your own home, not ours.. Completely different if they had won the title and didn't have another game .... but they haven't and they do.

Think that's harsh. If I was a Burnley supporter I'd be celebrating like mad after that result putting them one step closer to the league title.
