Thought he deserved a thread on what is likely to be his last game for us . His form has had some ups and downs but he has given us some brilliant memories . His attitude today was superb and professional . He was screaming at his team mates for more effort today , I looked at the clock 10 seconds of added time to go . Fantastic attitude . Thanks Jim

It does seem only fair that someone like Dunne who turns up week in week out and gives 100% gets more benefit of the doubt than Willock who certainly didn't.

Agree mate, completely.

Also, the club had the chance to sell in January and chose not to, so we could have taken a probably small fee and saved a few months wages.

Glad we didn't as Jimmy has been excellent for us this season.

I think the calculation was that Jimmy was vital to our survival so the difference between selling him for a few million in the new year and getting relegated if we lost him was probably taken into account in the decision to let him play his contract out.

Never knowingly right.

He would have gone if it had been a few million instead of a few hundred thousand.

AND I reckon it was only a few hundred thousand if condition A, B and C were met.

Probably based on promotion, appearances and international call ups.
So, really the only money coming in would have been from savings on wages, which as the budget was already set I guess was not as vital as survival?
